Does ginger help ease pain and swelling?

Spices like ginger are used in a lot of different foods. They taste great and might be good for you too. ย 

Some of the chemicals that make it work are gingerol, shogaol, and paradol, which can help reduce inflammation. ย ย 

Several studies have shown that these chemicals are very good at reducing inflammation. ย 

Ginger may reduce inflammation by preventing the production of anti-inflammatory chemicals, according to a Journal of Molecules. ย ย 

A study in the journal Arthritis & Rheumatology also found that taking ginger extract helped people with osteoarthritis, a common joint problem, feel better.

Ginger may relieve inflammation in patients with active RA by reducing inflammatory markers such as hs-CRP and IL-1ฮฒ gene expression according to Medical Journal of the Islamic Republic of Iran

We need more research to understand how ginger lowers inflammation, but consuming more ginger is a natural method to enhance your health. ย 

This could be done better. Ginger tea or ginger-flavored food helps treat inflammation in a delicious way. ย
